Hi,
I have to simple questions:
1) Will lustre 2.12.4 client/server run on Centos 7.8 just fine ? I didn't see it as a support version in the documentation.
2) When do you think lustre 2.12.5 will come out ?
Thanks,

We are working on a 2.12.5 release ATM that will support Centos 7.8. Our WIP is viewable at https://git.whamcloud.com/?p=fs/lustre-release.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/b2_12 . The exact timing of the release is somewhat dependent on what issues are found during testing but we are aiming to have something out this month

Regards

Being that we use Lustre for much of our large multi-pedabyte storage deployments, I would pick the version that will provide maximum stability and performance, but would lean more towards stability
</comment>

So, if you can support that version too with lustre 2.12.5 that would be great.
</comment>

We can definitely be flexible with variation on kernel and MOFED and will work on reported issues, but want to make clear that our testing will be focused on MOFED 4.9 so it would be prudent to do some testing yourself before going into production.

We are hitting against systems we are trying to install with Centos 7.8 and no lustre support. Thanks.
</comment>
