https://jira.whamcloud.com This file is an XML representation of an issue en-us 9.4.14 940014 05-12-2023 https://jira.whamcloud.com/browse/LU-13840 Lustre <p>The use of "<tt>lfs setquota &#45;o</tt>" as the short option for specifying the quota pool is confusing, because "<tt>lfs quota &#45;o</tt>" is the short option for getting quota on an OST.</p> <p>The "<tt>lfs setquota</tt>" command should remove the use of "<tt>&#45;o</tt>" as the short option for quota pools, and instead have no short option at all. Using <tt>&#45;&#45;pool</tt> is not so long to type each time, and "<tt>lfs find &#45;&#45;pool</tt>" also does not have a short option.</p> <p>This also needs to be updated to use "<tt>lfs setquota ... &#45;&#45;pool</tt>" instead of "<tt>&#45;o</tt>" in the <tt>sanity&#45;quota.sh</tt> test script, and in the <tt>lfs&#45;setquota.1</tt> man page.</p> <p>This needs to be done before the release of 2.14.</p> LU-13840
