hangs with Linux 5.4" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="LU-13182"><del>LU-13182</del></a>. that ticket perfectly describes the issue I'm seeing.</p> <p>I grabbed <a href="https://review.whamcloud.com/40221/" class="external-link" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">https://review.whamcloud.com/40221/</a> which applies cleanly to 2.12.6 and tested it, and it's fixed the problem for me.</p> <p>without the MAP_POPULATE patch, nodes with root-on-lustre don't reboot and logrotate hangs.</p> <p>RHEL/centos 8.3 didn't need this patch, so I guess it's an 8.4
