This will allow them to use the "<tt>llapi_open_by_fid<span class="error">&#91;_at&#93;</span>()</tt>" interface internally to open the files instead of doing pathname resolution, and improve integration into pipelines that produce FIDs instead of filenames (e.g. Changelogs) without the need to produce an intermediate pathname.</p> LU-15425
