There are two things need to be done:</p> <ol> <li>enforce the filesystem-wide default LMV on subdirectory mount if it's not set separately.</li> <li>"lfs getdirstripe -D &lt;subdir_mount&gt;" should print the filesystem-wide default LMV.</li> </ol> LU-15910
