[LU-16628] lustre client server version compatibility

                <project id="10000" key="LU">Lustre</project>

Hi,

Is a lustre client with lustre version 2.12.6 compatible with a lustre server version of 2.15.2? I've read a post from Andreas back in 2019 that there is a 'very long window of compatibility' between client and server versions, but thought I'd check just in case. Thanks!

We do actively test 2.15.x servers with 2.12.x clients as part of our release testing so, even though we did not test this specific combination (we would have tested 2.15.2 servers with 2.12.9 clients), I would expect it to still work and it would certainly be supported.
