That issue was resolved in the kernel I'm attempting to use (5.14.0-284.18.1.el9_2.x86_64), change log - mm/filemap: fix page end in filemap_get_read_batch (Nico Pache) <span class="error">&#91;2189349 2181263&#93;</span>.</p> <p>Then I saw <a href="https://jira.whamcloud.com/browse/LU-16242" title="Self-built lustre-client-dkms requires /usr/bin/python2" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="LU-16242"><del>LU-16242</del></a> which documents the problem of python2 referenced in the lustre-client-dkms RPM. But that isn't scheduled until 2.16. How do I install Lustre on a RHEL/AlmaLinux 9.2 system? I've already ported that patch <a href="https://review.whamcloud.com/51426" class="external-link" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">https://review.whamcloud.com/51426</a> "<tt><a href="https://jira.whamcloud.com/browse/LU-16626" title="Don&#39;t use or check for python2 for lustre-zfs-dkms rpm" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="LU-16626"><del>LU-16626</del></a> build: remove python2 dependencies</tt>" to b2_15, but it is a trivial patch and could be applied to the build system to avoid this minor dependency.</p> <p>It looks like there is also a second patch <a href="https://review.whamcloud.com/52176" class="external-link" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">https://review.whamcloud.com/52176</a> "<tt><a href="https://jira.whamcloud.com/browse/LU-16585" title="Don&#39;t use or check for python2 for lustre-client-dkms rpm" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="LU-16585"><del>LU-16585</del></a> build: remove python2 dependencies</tt>" with a confusingly similar description but a different bug number that is removing the python2 dependencies from Debian builds. I've just cherry-picked this to b2_15 also.</p> <p>Is there an RPM with the referenced fixes I could download? I need to give an answer to upper management when they ask about this.
