Thanks</p> <p>James</p> <p>Efforts are really focused on things on the critical path for 2.4 this week so I really cannot guarantee that someone will get to this. However, Cray have clearly signed off on this work or else they would not have upstreamed it and they are the ones responsible for this code so I think that it should be ok for you to still use it if you choose</p> <p>Peter</p> <p>At a minimum, this ticket should contain a description of the defects and fixes included in the patch, though it would be better to include that in the commit comment. "fixes for the past year" doesn't give anyone much information.</p> <p>I'll update this tracking ticket with a list of the patches that are included in the push. If needed I can update the Gerrit commit with the same information.</p> <p>Thanks James.<br/> I'm not sure what Oleg's intention is for landing your patch in time for 2.4.0 - it is very late in the game, but the patch would also be considered a bug fix for GNI users (even if we don't track of fix those bugs here).</p> <p>I would recommend resubmitting your patch with an updated commit comment (it can be tens or hundreds of lines long if you want), and cleaning up the whitespace. Patch turnaround time is about 12h or less most times.</p> <p>Now that this patch is landed I suggest we can close this ticket.</p> <p>ok.
