So let's define a command as:</p> <p>lfs raid1_make_it_raid1 <span class="error">&#91;options like lfs setstripe&#93;</span> &lt;existing_file&gt;</p> <p>to turn an existing file into a raid1 file, or add one more copy to a raid1 file. In this command, the following steps will be performed:<br/> 1. create a temp file with speicified stripe pattern or default policy;<br/> 2. open the existing file exclusively;<br/> 3. copy the file content to the temp file;<br/> 4. lfs raid1_merge</p> <p>However, this implementation of raid1_make_it_raid1 should have lower priority.
