The idea request is for "disk deprecation" - we observe a disk is failing or is slowly degrading, and would like Lustre to automatically deprecate it such that no new content is added. During idle bandwidth, disk contents should be migrated out to other locations.</p> <p>In the short-term, making "lctl" support a "deprecate" command would be a stop-gap solution.</p> LU-4026
