The customer has upgraded to 1.8.9 recently, and was told that the patch was not part of this build. They are not quite ready yet to move up to 2.X, and would like to know where they can locate a 1.8.9 build with this fix included.</p> LU-4411

There has been activity in response to this ticket, but in the original patch in gerrit and that had not been reported back here (which it should). See <a href="http://review.whamcloud.com/#/c/4887/" class="external-link" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">http://review.whamcloud.com/#/c/4887/</a> In short, no, the fix for <a href="https://jira.whamcloud.com/browse/LU-2518" title="Corrupted files" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="LU-2518"><del>LU-2518</del></a> was not in 1.8.9-wc1, but is now marked for inclusion for a 1.8.10-wc1 release (though we have no immediate plans to make such a release). The original patch has been refreshed to work with the latest b1_8 code.</p> <p>Are we able to download just the patch for installation?
