We would certainly help you with any problems that you ran into during such a downgrade. Having said that, why would you want to do such a downgrade? Is there an official procedure to downgrade ? </p> <p>regards</p> <p>There should be no issues during a downgrade, as you are moving only two minor releases. There are no changes to the Lustre configuration, only versions of the RPMs change. For downgrade, you would simply re-install the previous set of RPMS. Also, there are no issues in this case with a mixed environment, so you can do a rolling upgrade or a rolling downgrade. The cluster and clients should work just fine with any mix of 1.8.7-wc1 and 1.8.9-wc1. </p> <p>I have talked with the customer, please mark this issue as resolved.
