[LU-5463] Short file size because of -EDQUOT

                <project id="10000" key="LU">Lustre</project>

A couple of users found their files are truncated when they copied new files to lustre. And they reproduced the problem using following script:

echo a > testfile1 && echo b >> testfile1 && cat testfile1

The output of the script is always 'a\n' for these users. And the output of 'ls -l' shows that the file size is 2. However, on another node, 'ls -l' shew that the size of the 'testfile1' is actually 4 and the content of it is 'a\nb\n', which means the data has been written onto disk correctly. And please note root users and other users do not have such kind of problem.

We traced the operation, and found following logs.

It seems osc_quota_chkdq() returns NO_QUOTA. And +quota log is:

-122 is -EDQUOT. Howevert, the users definitely had not reached their space limits, and second 'echo >>' should return failure if the user's quota is exceeded.

Following is the output of 'lfs quota -v':

1 Client was thinking that the user has running out of quota (or used space is approaching quota limit), however, the 'lfs quota -v' shows that used space is far below quota limit. We need to figure out if it's dup of <del>LU-4505</del>.

2. The client writing file saw incorrect file size, I suppose it because the kms/i_size wasn't updated properly for sync write. I'm going to cook a patch to fix this.
</comment>

From the log we saw the call to cl_object_attr_set, but the client is not updating the kms...
We are testing a debug patch at NCI, hopefully could tell us why. Will report later.
</comment>

Indeed, looks the kms updating code in brw_interpret() is wrong:

loff_t last_off = last->oap_count + last->oap_obj_off

We forgot to add page_off here, will update the patch soon. Thanks.
</comment>

The test script is really simple:
for i in

{0..80}

; do echo $i; lfs setstripe -c 1 -i $i testfileijc && echo a > testfileijc && echo b >> testfileijc && cat testfileijc && rm testfileijc ; done > testost.log 2>&1

in the case where the OST returned EDQUOT the file showed short data.
</comment>
