We have been using dkms with the Lustre client for a few years now and have used the following for the client modules only:</p> <p>PRE_BUILD="configure<br/> --prefix=/usr<br/> --with-linux=${kernel_source_dir}<br/> --with-linux-obj=${kernel_source_dir}<br/> --without-ldiskfs<br/> --without-zfs<br/> --without-sysio<br/> --without-lustre-iokit<br/> --disable-snmp<br/> --disable-doc<br/> --disable-utils<br/> --disable-tests<br/> --disable-maintainer-mode<br/> --disable-server</p> <p>Perhaps someone may wish to review and alter the client side dkms packages.</p> <p>Eric</p> SL 6.6 LU-6393
