This is because the dependency on lustre-osd-ldiskfs-mount in lustre-osd-ldiskfs does not have a version specification.</p> <div class="preformatted panel" style="border-width: 1px;"><div class="preformattedContent panelContent"> <pre># rpm -q --requires lustre-osd-ldiskfs | grep lustre-osd-ldiskfs-mount lustre-osd-ldiskfs-mount </pre> </div></div> <p>Now, properly version controlled, there is really no reason to upgrade lustre-osd-ldiskfs-mount with every Lustre release, but I doubt we are being disciplined enough to have proper cross-version compatibility of all of our RPM sub-package components (yet).<br/> Probably it is our intention that lustre-osd-ldiskfs-mount always be from the same general release as the rest of the Lustre packages, yes?</p> lustre upgrade performed with yum command<br/> LU-6718
