[LU-8294] Noisy gss_svc_upcall_handle_init

                <project id="10000" key="LU">Lustre</project>

I noticed that ever since I enabled gss builds, I am getting some spam in my dmesg like this:

[  979.361247] Lustre: 12252:0:(gss_svc_upcall.c:998:gss_svc_upcall_handle_init()) cache_check return ENOENT, drop
[  979.362449] Lustre: 12252:0:(gss_svc_upcall.c:998:gss_svc_upcall_handle_init()) Skipped 9 previous similar messages

Sine I don't really have anything security-related configured during these runs, I imagine these warnings need to be silenced to only happen when they are really needed.

Is this something that you will have bandwidth to work on over the coming weeks? I am trying to assess whether we will be able to include this fix in 2.10

Thanks

I don't know enough about GSS to speak with much authority on it. Although that also gives me some ability to say that I think a sys admin new to GSS and Lustre would not have much use for that error message, so perhaps the short term fix is to change the CWARN to CDEBUG(D_SEC, ...)? Would that be an acceptable fix?

Thanks,
