Using a recent master (2.8.53) build:</p> <div class="preformatted panel" style="border-width: 1px;"><div class="preformattedContent panelContent"> <pre>mgs# lctl pool_new scratch.1234567890123456 poolname 1234567890123456 is too long (max is 15) argument scratch.1234567890123456 must be &lt;fsname&gt;.&lt;poolname&gt; pool_new: File name too long </pre> </div></div> <p>The text in the manual should probably read something like <br/> 'The pool name is an ASCII string with a maximum of 15 characters.'</p> LUDOC-340
