    Description

      Introduced in 2.11.56, patch https://review.whamcloud.com33233/ "LU-11427 lod: create layout in mdo_create()", while increasing read performance, has introduced a significant degradation with mdtest stat performance.

          In a way, yes. We reverted it on our end; as it continues to show a regression with our test systems and even larger cluster deployments. I am not sure what you want to do here. If you believe that the issue should be closed, I won't argue.
