Server log shows FID ... is invalid

Jul  6 16:47:48 porter81 kernel: LustreError: 31368:0:(mdt_open.c:1515:mdt_reint_open()) lustre3-MDT0000: name 'workspace' present, but FID [0x200014cf7:0x177c6:0x0] is invalid
