    Description

This issue was created by maloo for Nathaniel Clark <nclark@whamcloud.com>

This issue relates to the following test suite run:
      https://testing.whamcloud.com/test_sets/d50f0961-ce71-4ccc-a95a-1f6a980eb9e2
      https://testing.whamcloud.com/test_sets/85960ca4-47b7-4af3-97cc-c65378d1c9eb

test_64e failed with the following error:

'init grants: grants mismatch: 0, expected 2146304'

This seems to only happen in the review-ldiskfs-arm run.

[LU-13838] sanity test_64e: Grants Mismatch on ARM

            Hello,

I have the same type of issue for: https://testing.whamcloud.com/test_sessions/3c2cdeca-b98d-4fc4-9c29-91f28ab07e70

But the test run on x86 architecture.

Can it be considered as the same issue?

Does this mean LU-11596 now will pass?

This test has passed 184 times in the past 4 weeks on aarch64, so it must have been fixed by something.

Grant usage is, by necessity, based on whole PAGE_SIZE usage on the client, since any 1-byte write may cause a PAGE_SIZE=64KB write to the OST. It should be accounting for this correctly, but it is entirely possible that there is some assumption on the client or server in the grant usage that needs to be fixed.
