            No, it looks like LU-15150 is the real source of that problem.

            If auster is used for maloo testing, then yes. But I just happened to notice the issue while working on LU-15150 (which prevents exit_status() from detecting the test failure)

            Presumably this is related to LU-15089 "sanity-lnet test_230: expected number of tcp connections 18" failing the subtest but not reporting an error?
