    Description

      The work of LU-11850 will restore access of stats to non root users. The limitation to this approach is that external applications that want to harvest stats hate any c coding or linking into libraries. They want use scripts to scrap the data. To address this we can create programming wrappers which external applications can use to collect the stats.
