    Description

      Looking to offer a version of the feature discussed in this JIRA
      LU-10026

      And also the design written in this wiki:
      https://wiki.lustre.org/Enhanced_Adaptive_Compression_in_Lustre

      This feature will focus on lz4, lz4hc, and lzo compression. It will work on composite layouts with ldiskfs as the on-disk format.

       

      Opening a new feature instead of using the original since there is much history and context with the previous one, and it is also assigned to another user.
