Since 31e5fc87aebf ("LU-18876 build: remove MOSTLYCLEANFILES"), `make clean` hasn't removed *.ko files. This actually caused a concrete problem for me - since 3cf87a83a0fd ("LU-18876 libcfs: move to its final place for upstreaming") moved the location of the libcfs.ko file, after I updated my lustre tree I ended up with 2 conflicting copies of the kernel module. This broke the llmount.sh script:
