          Hi Sarah,

          Can you try to reproduce this issue again with this debug patch? I want to know whether it has something to do with the memory corruption, if the reproduction fails the assertion which I adds, then I'll make another fix patch.

          I found something about this issue.

          It turned out the previous data structure on the RCU list was as follows:

          Unfortunately it doesn't come with a free function that means it should be freed by free_rcu. I also turned on malloc debug log but it seems this piece of memory has never been used by Lustre. It's not the corresponding dentry that failed inode initialization either.
