Use Makefile to validate, build manual on hudson.

    Description

      Andreas has provided a Makefile that checks and builds PDF and HTML files.

      It would be nice if this replaced the rules that currently do the validate and build on hudson.

            I think this make file would be the best way to add the images in for the HTML doc.
