    Description

      If the destination NID to the ping commands is IPv6, then the fake interface cannot be cleaned up. A message like the following is seen:

            Message from syslogd@el8-mds1 at Dec  4 15:58:11 ...
        kernel:unregister_netdevice: waiting for test1pg to become free. Usage count = 15
