This issue relates to the following test suite run:

test_27D failed with the following error:

llapi_layout_test: llapi_layout_test.c:1970: test37: assertion 'rc == 0' failed: errno = 22
 test37 @1787258879: verify mirror count and mirror ids for existing files ..... fail (exit status 1)

It looks like this started failing on interop testing on both master and master-next since 2026-06-08. It did not fail in the 2026-06-02 or earlier master-next runs (though there were some EC-related interop failures in the 5x range).
