Description
Lustre manuals say almost nothing about interfacing with Windows-in fact the word "windows" does not appear, making finding what is there (i.e., "Samba) very difficult.

The following bullet was included in Section 1.1 with http://review.whamcloud.com/#/c/6133/
"NFS and CIFS export: Lustre files can be re-exported using NFS (via Linux knfsd) or CIFS (via Samba) enabling them to be shared with non-Linux clients, such as Microsoft* Windows* and Apple* Mac OS X*."
No other mention of Samba is made in the manual.
Assigning to HPPD triage. This needs to be assigned to a subject expert to create the new section on setting up and tuning Samba on Lustre.
