Major The current ofd module registers itself as "obdfilter" in order to allow test scripts and /proc entries to be compatible.
However, in the long term this should be changed to "ofd" for clarity, and a symlink can be created in /proc/fs/lustre "obdfilter -> ofd" (as osp does for osc /proc files) so that monitoring scripts and older tests (in compat mode) can continue to access the /proc files, but there is a clear separation between the two modules.
